On the day your arrival in Wamena airport our English speaking guide and driver they will pick you up in Airport. Transfer to the Baliem Pilamo Hotel other similar. City tour by car visit Wamena local morning market and Visit Pugima coffee plantation running by dani Family.

After arrival in the Hotel, your free time, you take shower while waiting for the dinner.

After breakfast you start leaving to Sogokmo or by car 1 Hour Jetni 1 hour. At the end of the transport you can start trekking. There a Kali Jetni is small but heavy-duty water coming from mountain with full mud also stones you can set off your shoes crossing the river through walk. our porters currently service you.

After that you can set on your shoes and continue walking to Kurima Area and hiking on the green hills/mountain to Klise village. On the hiking you will enjoy with beautiful scenery of narrow gorge and Sungai Baliem running through the coastal. Other attention you will see Dani mountain people on the day hike sometimes very hard know where they’re from.

After arrive in Klise village at 3pm we will go visit one of chief family cooking sweet potatoes in the village in traditional way. You will see the process from start to finish. After finish back to Klise Guest House.

In the morning after breakfast move to another village called Ugem village. From the Klise walk down hill to Kurima and cross a suspension bridge continue to Wesangma Ugem.

After arrive at the village tour around the beautiful hills top of Ugem.

After breafsat pack your own backpack and continue walk down hill to Seima.

You may stop for photo of the beautiful panorama. When you are ready with great photo, you will trekking to pilabaga and walk down to next the Baliem Rive.

you will walk into the foot path and crossing second hanging bridge nearby Sogokmo.

Before arrive Sogokmo, you will cross a second hanging bridge a bridge is where a suspension bridge over the raging Baliem, beside which is a small memorial to a Japanese tourist and his dani guide who drowned and get die. And then we walk easy day. Then 40 minute walk to Sogokmo. Sogokmo to Wamena by car.

Sogokmo drive drive back to Wamena to the Hotel.

Wake up, breakfast, short transfer to Wamena Airport. You will fly to Sorong from Wamena crossing Jayapura.

Arrival Sorong, airport, waisai harbor, transfer Hotel. After check in, your guide take you tour around of the city. Dinner and accommodation service by our partner guide.

Piaynemo, trekking to top of Piaynemo, start logon, aborborek, tourism village and sand back. Back to the Waisai. Lunch on the way, dinner sleeping in the waisai.

Birding trip and visit agro tourism and Blue River. In the evening back to Sorong City.

Lunch and dinner in the Restaurant and sleep in the Hotel.

A beautiful life experience in the Baliem Valley Our 2-day trek in the Baliem Valley. Our driver came to pick us up with our Onesius guide around 9am. They were accompanied by our two porters John and Welemus who carry sleeping bags, all meals and drinking water for 2 days. After 3/4 of a drive our SUV was blocked by a flash flood of the night that completely cut the road. The river was raging and a large tow truck was working to re-establish the track across the river that flows into the Baliem River. At night, torrential rain collapsed part of the mountain upstream. After 1h20 waiting we boarded another 4x4 that kindly offered to make us cross the river. This black spot past our trek started under a beautiful and warm sun. The paths taken have been more or less easy. In some places the rain at night had made the trail particularly delicate with slopes of 50% waiting for a misstep on our part to take us away. After a few hours of walking in magnificent landscapes we arrived at our campground, received by the owner of the place. Warm and friendly meeting with big smiles at the key. We took possession of our typical Papuan box with 2 summary mattresses and no other amenities. After a coffee break in traditional Papuan cuisine (wood fire in the center of the hut) we visited the village of Klise of about 500 inhabitants, located at about 1900 m altitude. Onesius organized us a cooking session prepared by our host's wife again in another kitchen with wood fire. Unique experience. You could smell a little bit of the burned pig outside the hut. The cooking time of the Bakar Batu allowed us to take a short walk above the village at almost 2000 m. Extraordinary views of the Baliem Valley. Back to the kitchen where Sarah dismantled her oven with all its layers of stones, banana leaves, ashes, earth and others indefinite. We were able to taste the sweet potatoes prepared like this. Anne really liked it. Return to our cabin while waiting for the dinner prepared by Welemus one of our porters. Meals based on rice, pasta, chicken and beef/tuna croquette. And as dessert a pineapple from the village of God's Thunder. The next morning we woke up around 6:30 after a night a little cool on mattresses a little tired outside our hut, we were greeted by some inhabitants of the village offering us their local handicrafts. After some discussion about the price, we bought some local Papuan crafts. Breakfast followed in the kitchen where on the ground a dried hay mat allows to have some comfort. The toast was prepared on a “traditional toaster”, and the pure Wamena arabica coffee of a very good quality was served to us (in infusion). The toast is accompanied by pineapple jam and local Nutella. Again we had the pleasure of eating a whole pineapple as well as delicious passion fruit. Around 9am departure for this last day in the valley. Very nice course a little rough while downhill and uphill where we made beautiful meetings on this trek. We have learned to communicate in their traditions, we go to people and we use our hands by lowering ourselves, as a way of respect and gratitude, especially with the elders. Yeskiel, made for Anne a nice necklace of yellow flowers while walking barefoot on a very rocky path and this for 6 hours. Lay lunch on a superb view of the valley. The last part of the trek was along the Baliem River which is a very fertile area where Papuans grow sweet potatoes, corn, onions, carrots mainly. After crossing a 50 m suspension bridge over the furious river, 3/4 hour walk took us to the place where our driver was waiting for us. A very nice day again and a unique experience in this very authentic valley.
